Bond & Block is a high-performance, multi-surface primer formulated to seal, block stains, and promote excellent adhesion on a variety of properly prepared surfaces. Ideal for furniture, cabinetry, and other refinishing projects where a dependable foundation is essential for a beautiful, lasting finish.

Recoat time: 1 hour

Over laminate/formica: Sand with 120-220, clean well, apply; wait 24 hours to paint

Clean up - soap and hot water. 
NOTE: clean your brush/roller immediately. Do not use a "good" brush or roller, as our primer will ruin it if it sets in. 

Block & Bond color may vary slightly from batch to batch. This does not affect it's performance. 

Proper prep for any substrate: 

• Check for waxy residue from products (such as Pledge, silicone polishes, furniture waxes) and remove with mineral spirits, odorless solvent, or similar product. Nothing adheres to wax. 
• Clean thoroughly with your favorite degreaser / cleaner. Popular cleaners include: TSP, TSP Alternative, Krud Kutter, Dawn Platinum or Ultimate. Be sure to rinse these cleaners off completely. 
• Scuff sand at minimum.
