Bond & Block is a high-performance, multi-surface primer formulated to seal, block stains, and promote excellent adhesion on a variety of properly prepared surfaces. Ideal for furniture, cabinetry, and other refinishing projects where a dependable foundation is essential for a beautiful, lasting finish.

Over laminate/formica: Sand with 120-220, clean well, apply; wait 24 hours to paint

Clean up - soap and hot water. NOTE: clean your brush/roller immediately. Do not use a "good" brush or roller, as our primer will ruin it if it sets in.
Block & Bond color may vary slightly from batch to batch. This does not affect it's performance.
Proper prep for any substrate:
Check for waxy residue from products (such as Pledge, silicone polishes, furniture waxes) and remove with mineral spirits, odorless solvent, or similar product. Nothing adheres to wax.
Clean thoroughly with your favorite degreaser / cleaner. Popular cleaners include: TSP, TSP Alternative, Krud Kutter, Dawn Platinum or Ultimate. Be sure to rinse these cleaners off completely.
